Hello! My name is Kathryn Paidoussis,

I am a NYC based Performer originally from Long Island, NY. In addition to my obsession with hamsters and other animals alike, I have been performing my whole life.

I truly love to make people FEEL and reflect with any performance of any kind. Art brings us all together, and its a blessing to be part of that in any way. I’ve met my favorite people through theatre and love connecting with other artists of similar and different disciplines.

More about me

I began my vocal training at age 10 when my fourth grade music teacher saw something in me and recommended me for lessons. My first musical was Groovy Jr. at YMCA Act Out Theatre Camp when I was 8-years-old. I was very jealous my older brother had attended the camp the year prior when I was too young, so I jumped on the opportunity to join him in the fun when I was considered of age. I portrayed IRIS, the lead singer of the Beatles-esq band and returned to camp each summer thereafter to be part of multiple musicals. I continued to sing in select choir and perform vocally proficient arias at the NYSSMA conference every year until I graduated high school. Through this and my swing dance show choir, I was lucky enough to work with Eric Whitacre and perform in his concert at Lincoln Center in 2018 as a Soprano 1, perform as a Soprano 1 in the New York All State Music Conference in 2019, and perform as a featured dancer and soloist on Disney Springs Mainstage at Disney World Florida. I was president of the Drama Club as well as a member in good standing of the Tri-M Music Honor Society at West Islip High School. I credit my exposure to acting technique and the importance of stamina to my many productions at theatre camp, middle school, high school, community theaters, and Vocal Motion show choir. By the time I graduated high school, I had been in 25 commercial musicals, 3 full length plays, 3 one-act plays, received 2 school-granted awards for “Best Actress” and “Best Supporting Actress,” and directed a one act play.
